Message or dual fuel pumps.

Greg has shown that the Q16 makes a bit more power, but it has to be tuned for Q16 to get the get that added power.

The literature suggests that Q16 has a lot higher oxygen content (10%), and that a 4-6% increase in fuel flow is required, leading to 3-5% more power than C16. It further indicates that the increased fuel flow leads to a fuel that is 6-8 times more detonation resistant vs. traditional C16. That means that the fuel curves have to be tuned to be much richer.

Greg confirmed this, indicating that C16 is typically tuned in the 12.0 to 12.5 range for max power. Greg said he is tuning the Q16 cars to 11.0, and that you can not switch from C16 to Q16 without retuning.
